Covid19 - pandemic security guarantee 

All our guests who have been or will be affected by bookings during periods of pandemic / periods it has been or will be impossible or not safe to travel can rebook to later arrival dates. In case of pandemic, all our accommodation will be fully rebookable free of charge. Everyone who need to cancel in case of the Foreign Ministry's non-travel advice can move their trip, or get all the money back for accomodation rented.

Even during the chaotic period 2020 with a total lockdown, we took care of all our guests on site, arranged temporary accommodation for those in need and helped them home in an orderly manner.

BokaNerja is a stable, reputable and safe travel agency for all parties. Since 2004, we have had a good collaboration with hotels, apartment hotels and privately owned holiday homes around Nerja, and arrange package tours with, for example, transfers, excursions, courses and training, flights and accommodation.

We have a Spanish travel agency license with corresponding travel guarantees that Swedish travel agencies have with Kammarkollegiet, ie you are protected and get your money back if your travel agency should go bankrupt. We also follow the European package travel law, which always guarantees you the money back if we should be forced to cancel a package trip you booked through us, and also gives you increased opportunities to get your money back if you yourself need to cancel your trip.

 

Before you book, it is important that you read our booking rules for your safety, and that you have adequate travel insurance. In general, a paid reservation fee to us can not be refunded, but it is the basis and security for all parties in our joint agreement on an upcoming trip. In several cases, however, your booking can be rebooked until the final payment is made. Read more about current cancellation rules for each booking.

As a travel agency, BokaNerja organizes package tours that provide a higher degree of security for the customer compared to if you buy flights and accommodation separately.

A package trip does not have to be a group trip, but if the agreement with the travel agency means that you buy flights and accommodation plus possible transfers, excursions, etc., it is a package trip and we then follow the EU package travel law. Booking policy Accommodation

Through BokaNerja, when booking, you only pay a reservation fee for the accommodation (30%) and the entire cost of any airline tickets. Flights and reservation fees will not be refunded in the event of cancellation. The rest is invoiced just over 2 months before departure with payment no later than 30 days before the trip. Until that payment is to be made, you can cancel the trip without additional costs and no medical certificate is needed. However, fees paid are not refunded (only in case of pandemic, see above).

Booking policy Package travel

For package tours such as yoga trips, winter trips etc. with group flights, a reservation fee of 200 € is charged when booking, and final payment is the latest date stated on the event. The reservation fee cannot be refunded upon cancellation. Reservation fee and costs paid, however, are always refunded if the event is canceled by us, or there is a travel advice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the time of travel, severe spread of infection at the destination or similar Force Major circumstance after the booked arrival date. Make sure you have a travel insurance that covers your needs in the event of, for example, your own cancellation or illness. Here you can read more about package travel and the package travel law.

Travel insurance - illness etc.

If the cancellation is due to illness, that cost is usually always reimbursed by the travel insurance that we always recommend you take out. If you have a good home insurance with a travel document, that may be enough.

If you want to be insured against costs in connection with cancellation for reasons other than illness, we work with market-leading Europeans who have good both cancellation and travel insurance. In the event of illness or other cancellation you make yourself, the booking fee and any final payment must be recovered via your own travel insurance.

 

Booking policy Flight booking.

Any temporary booking rules do not apply to flight bookings, here we always refer to the respective company's rules, cancellation and rebooking conditions. If the flight ticket is included in a package trip, see conditions under package package.

 

Booking policy Excursions

Booked excursions are paid in full upon booking. They can not be canceled or recovered in case of illness or that you are not in time for the excursion. Only if we cancel the excursion will the fee paid be refunded or replaced with an equivalent excursion.

For conference, company, class or association trips and the like, detailed booking conditions are always sent in connection with the booking.
